The beer style that launched the craft beer movement. The American pale ale beer was inspired by the English pale ale, replacing its English counterpart’s earthy, herbal hops with generous additions of boldly citrus and pine-like American varieties. Newer, modern versions of this style – like this Exacta Pale Ale from Willibald have decidedly less malt character to allow the vibrant hops to shine through. This is a Pale Ale with Citra, Simcoe, and El Dorado hops.
