The Annapolis Valley experienced a stellar 2017 vintage – hot and dry – particularly during the fall ripening period, providing an intensity of fruit flavour and excellent natural balance. All grapes for this blend were sourced from Lightfoot and Wolfville's two estate vineyards, the Lightfoot Home Farm Vineyard in Wolfville and the Oak Island Vineyard in Avonport. This year's Tidal Bay is a blend of Blend of L’Acadie, Geisenheim-318, Vidal, Riesling, & Chardonnay. This is the first Tidal Bay to be certified organic by Ecocert. The palate is citrusy and bright with hints of apple blossom and a refreshing saline finish.
