2 Crows Brewing Co. is the brainchild of husband and wife duo Mark and Kelly Huizink and brewer Jeremy Taylor. They brew modern beers with care and focus on quality. Their aim is to get people thinking about craftsmanship, where their beer is coming from and the various characteristics that make beer great.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of fresh citrus zest, herbal notes, and subtle spice all come from both the yeast and added ingredients, but also the dry hopping used. Flavours are light and bright with delicate citrus notes that lead into a palate with big carbonation and a dry finish. Truly a great Summer patio beer that works wonderfully with light fare.
Method
2 Crows wanted to amp up the profile of the Belgian Witbier, a style known for it’s wonderful aromatics thanks to the addition of orange peel and coriander. But to bump it up even more, they added dry hopping to the finished beer, featuring the Citra hop – known for it’s subtle herbal notes and big citrus profile.
