Tasting Notes
BitterCitrusCrisp
The Breton Brewing Company is located in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The tasting room is open for brewery tours, growler fills, pints, and entertainment! Breton has quickly become a staple not only in the hometown of Sydney, but also across the province for their offerings of well made everyday craft beer. They brew a core lineup of hoppy ales, crisp lagers, and some fruited sours, and you’ll sometime catch them with a mixed fermentation barrel aged beer from time to time.
Tasting Notes
Sometimes even Angus needs to take it easy. Tiny in strength but mighty in flavor and aroma, this pale ale has the same crisp, citrus taste you would expect from an Angus, but just, tiny.
Method
Session IPAs are hop-forward ales that are similar to pale ales and IPAs in terms of hop aroma and flavour, but are made to a lower degree of alcohol, usually between 3%-5% abv. The style takes inspiration from the great low ABV beers of England, but often are brewed with American or Southern Hemisphere hops.
