Chakana Malbec (750ml)
Alberto Antonini a consultant for the Chakana Vineyards first came to Argentina in 1995, after key contributions to the Super-Tuscan movement in the Italy. His philosophy is focused on using modern technology to express the terroir potential in making high end wines, while respecting the true nature of the grape flavours.
Red cherry, strawberry and vanilla aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins and crisp acidity. It is harmonious and focused, with caressing vibrant red berry fruit on the bright, classy finish.
This wine is made with conventionally grown Malbec grapes from Gualtallary, Los Chacales, Mendoza at 1100 meters. After fermentation the wine rests in a combination of concrete tanks and used French oak barrels for 12 months.
