Château Phélan Ségur is a magnificent estate in Saint Estephe estate overlooking the Gironde estuary.
Tasting Notes
Intense aromas and flavours of dark fruit; berries, plums, black cherries, mingle with notes of rose, sweet tobacco, baking spices and loamy soil. Excellent balance of fruit, acid and mineral-laced tannins on a well structured and concentrated palate. The wine’s ripe fruit, energy and freshness makes for a harmonious sensorial experience that carries onto a long pleasing finish.
Method
A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. Aged in new and used French oak for about 12 months.
