One night five NBA owners Emilia Fazzalari and Wye Grousbeck of the Celtics, Jeanie Bus of the Lakers, Michael Jordan of the Hornets and Wes Edens of the Bucks met for dinner and conversed about their shared interest in and love of Tequila. From there Cincoro was born. Their vision was to create a rich and delicious Tequila that was ultra smooth with a long luxurious finish.
Cincoro uses Blue Weber Agave from the highland and lowland appellations of Jalisco, Mexico.
The stylish bottle is immediately recognizable and was designed to represent the sleek and contemporary Tequila. The bottle design evolved into a stylized agave leaf sculpture with five sides reflecting the five owners.
Tasting Notes
Cincoro Reposado has aromas of cooked agave, with hints of vanilla on the nose, are complimented by spices and dried fruits. On the palate, cooked agave, light vanilla and baking spices complement toasted oak in perfect proportion.
Method
Cincoro aged expressions are characterized by their smoothness, richness, and deliciousness. Words rarely used to describe tequila. Cincoro Reposado begins as Cincoro Blanco, aging in used American Whiskey barrels for 8-10 months. The aging and blending process creates the rich and complex Cincoro taste profile, balancing the uniqueness of our agave profile, with time aging in specially selected barrels.
