Deep Roots distillery started to take root in 1990 when they planted their first 200 apple trees. Using only apples from the orchard, they fermented, distilled and aged their Apple Brandy in oak barrels. Now 30 years later, Deep Roots offers a full line of award winning spirits, liqueurs, ciders, and maple syrup – all made by the founding family in Prince Edward Island.
Tasting Notes
This coffee liqueur is rich with nutty, caramelized, and roasty notes of freshly brewed coffee. The palate is a rich and decadent blend of coffee notes and caramelized sugars. It is the perfect product to make into espresso martinis or enjoy over ice, white Russians, or ice cream.
Method
Crafted with a base of amber rum, and infused with PEI’s own Receiver Coffee. This coffee liqueur is produced to a similar spec as some other well known coffee liqueur brands.
