Easily one of the most loved and respected craft breweries in all of Canada. Opening their brewpub in 1998, Dieu du Ciel has gone on to world acclaim for not only their wide range of styles, but the quality and consistency of each beer they make. With a lively, and character filled pub in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood, to their list of collaborations with breweries all over the world, DDC has something for everyone.
Tasting Notes
A delicate and refreshing bouquet of citrus and spice floats atop toasted bread aromas, accompanied by a subtle touch of acidity provided by the wheat. The palate is light and fresh, with a zippy carbonation and dry finish. Perfect on a warm day, or anytime you feel like it.
Method
A Belgian-inspired, unfiltered wheat beer brewed with the traditional coriander and Curaçao orange peel. Belgian-style Witbier is known for its higher than average carbonation that helps the beer dance on your tongue. Witbier is the perfect summertime drink, and pairs nicely with a wide array of food.
