Tasting Notes

Red berry and wild strawberry aromas.  Concentrated red fruit and sweet spices and aromatic herbs. Deep and multilayered with polished tannins and a harmonious acid spine that lifts and extends the red fruit on the long, suave finish.

The grapes are sourced from the winery’s oldest vineyard planted between 150 and 450 metres above sea level. The wine was aged for 36 months in large French oak barrels followed by a long bottle aging. Ruby red in colour, with a very intense, persistent nose and with red fruit notes. Warm, balanced flavour with velvet-smooth tannins.
