The vineyards at Laurent Miquel in southern France’s Languedoc region date back to 1202, when the monks of Abbey de Fontcaude first began growing vines there. Today, Laurent Miquel is the 8th generation of his family works these vineyards alongside his wife Neasa. They grow local and varietals as well as varietals not normally grown in the region. He farms sustainably and his winemaking philosophy is to respect the past while innovating and improving upon it resulting in a range of elegant, high quality wines with a lot of personality.
Tasting Notes
A fresh, delicate and lively white with lots of citrus and minerality. Light bodied, everyday day, any occassion kind of white that can be enjoyed alone as an aperitif or as a compliment to light and fresh Meditarrenean foods and flavours.
Method
A blend of sustainably grown grapes from the Languedoc in southern France. 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Colombard, 15% Grenache Blanc. Fermented in stainless steel.
