The Tatamagouche Brewing Company (commonly referred to as “Tata”) is a family owned and operated craft brewery located in the heart of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. In 2014, the family converted an old butcher shop into a brewery, and have since added several additions to the sides and back of the building to help accommodate their growth. In 2023 the brewery launched Nomad, a line of alcohol-free beer. Tata Brew have won awards provincially as well as nationally while they continue to grow their team and brand.

Method
Belgian-style witbier is brewed using unmalted wheat, sometimes oats and malted barley. Witbiers are spiced with coriander and orange peel. A style that dates back hundreds of years, it fell into relative obscurity until it was revived by a Belgian brewer in the 1960s. This style is currently enjoying a renaissance, especially in the American market. “Wit” means “white.”
Nomad’s version is made with Water, Malt, Hops, Yeast, Wheat, Oats, Rice Hulls, Orange Peel, Elderflower, and Coriander.
