Bodegas Alceno, founded in 1870, was the first commercial winery in Spain’s Jumilla region. The vines are planted at a height of 600 to 800 meters in rocky and chalky soils. DO Jumilla is located on a high plain in the eastern region of Spain, acting as a transition zone between the Mediterranean coastal area and the high central plateau of Castile-La Mancha.
Tasting Notes
Fragrant notes of sun ripened strawberries, raspberries and blood orange. The palate is offers lots of ripe juicy fruit as expected in a warmer climate rose. The fruit is balanced by enough refreshing acidity making this wine a perfect partner for tapas and lighter fare.
Method
Monastell grapes fermented in stainless steel.

Love this wine especially summer time.

Great easy drinking wine. Perfect for a nice day. Definitely on the sweeter side so wouldn’t be so nice on a cold day.
