Annandale Distillery
The spirit of individuality returns.
Built in 1830 by former Excise Officer George Donald, Annandale is one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries. After passing through several owners, including Johnnie Walker, it closed for many years before David Thomson and Teresa Church purchased it in 2007. Distilling resumed in 2014, with the first bottling released in 2018.
Smooth and mellow, Man O’Words is Annandale’s unpeated whisky, inspired by Robert Burns. Man O’Sword is its peated expression, smokey and bold, named after Robert the Bruce.

Nose: Creamy sweet vanilla notes, orchard fruits like apple and pear, ashy smoke with hints of smouldering embers.
