Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Collectors and casual drinkers alike, we’ve got something for you

The Highlands, Islay, and Speyside are just a few of the regions where delicious Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made, and we have a selection that represents each place. Peated and smooth, fruited and oaked, large age-statements and small, our Scotch portfolio is robust and rotates quickly and often. We’re always on the hunt for another producer and distillery to bring to our ever-growing club of Whiskey Collectors.

After a 160-year hiatus, 1995 saw Lochranza Distillery open and the Isle of Arran returned to whisky production. The hope was that they could capture the island’s unique whisky character…once referred to as “Arran Water”.  Despite the fact this is an island scotch, Arran Malt is not known for its peat. The flavor profile is cereal with a distinct citrus note, thought to come from the use of small stills that are run very slowly. A relatively new distillery in terms of Scotch, Arran is one of the few independent  distilleries remaining.

Nose: So nutty and deliciously aromatic; chocolate hazelnuts, walnuts, raisins, prunes, milk chocolate, and then out of nowhere there’s a whiff of peach.
Palate: Chocolate covered raisins, bright raspberry jam. Strangely enough, those peach notes come through again on the palate. The flavor profile on the palate just keep going evolving. A very interesting scotch.
Finish: Long, long fruity, and nutty finish.
