2 Crows Brewing Co. is the brainchild of husband and wife duo Mark and Kelly Huizink and brewer Jeremy Taylor. They brew modern beers with care and focus on quality. Their aim is to get people thinking about craftsmanship, where their beer is coming from and the various characteristics that make beer great.
Tasting Notes
Like all great West Coast Pale Ales, Adanac has got a nice snappy bitterness, with lots of grapefruit, tangerine, pine and pineapple notes. Bitterness is assertive but nicely balanced by subtle malt notes and creamy carbonation. An endless sipper for the hop fan!
Method
The beer style that launched the craft beer movement. The American pale ale beer was inspired by the English pale ale, replacing its English counterpart’s earthy, herbal hops with generous additions of boldly citrus and pine-like American varieties. Characterised by floral, fruity, citrus-like, piney, resinous American hops, the American pale ale is a medium-bodied beer.
Adanac is brewed with Pilsner and Wheat Malt, hopped assertively with Chinook and Citra, fermented with a lovely clean and crisp yeast and dry hopped with lots of Cascade, Citra, Chinook, and Simcoe.
