Barrelling Tide Distillery is located in Port William’s in Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis Valley. They believe good things take time; and quality will forever come before quantity. All of their spirits and liqueurs are handcrafted in small batches on-site. Port Williams and surrounding areas in the Annapolis Valley boast some of the most beautiful scenery in the Maritimes. Known for being the agricultural heartland, the area is famous for its fruit crops.
Their spirits and liqueurs are bottled in quality glass. They distill all of their products in small batches, so they can closely monitor the quality. The fruit for their liqueurs is sourced from the Annapolis Valley and the grains used are local as commodity permits.
Tasting Notes
From the distillery: The Raspberry Liqueur is beautifully balanced with a rich raspberry taste. Made from local, Annapolis Valley, raspberries. It pairs beautifully with vanilla ice cream, lemonade or in sangria. Makes a great addition to many cocktails. Try this in a Raspberry Cosmopolitan; combine vodka, Raspberry Liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup in an eye filled shaker and shake, strain into a coupe glass and top with prosecco, fresh raspberries, garnish with mint.
Method
Hand crafted and made with locally sourced ingredients, does not contain any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. In order to maintain the optimum quality of the liqueur, best used within the first 4-6 months after opening.
