Tasting Notes
In the glass, a delicate salmon colour with a blush hue. The nose reveals stunning aromas of grapefruit, spring flowers, guava, lemon and a touch of sea minerals. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and full of energy, featuring a myriad of flavours ranging from juicy peaches to ripe cherries and white tea. The finale is long and lingering, with enduring notes of rose petals and wet stones.
Method
This rosé is crafted from the oldest planting of Cabernet Franc in Nova Scotia, located on the Habitant Estuary. The grapes were planted in 2001 by Al McIntyre, his daughter, Alanna and his future son in law, Flavio Racca. This property has been owned and managed by Benjamin Bridge since 2016. This resilient parcel is now more vibrant than ever having made it through many threats, from hurricanes to frost, it can now express the complexity and textures that only older vines can provide. TA 9.45 g/L, RS 8 g/L.
