La Purisima Syrah

Bodegas La Purísima was founded in 1946 by several farmers who joined forces in order to improve the quality of Yecla wines.  Nowadays  The estate is one of the most important in the region, and remains loyal to the spirit of its founders: Quality and Authenticity.

Bodegas La Purisima is a winemaking estate on the Murcia Plateau in the Yecla Denomination of Origin.  It is located at an altitude of between 500 and 900 metres in a jagged mountain landscape with a variety of different soil types.   These soils originated mainly from sediments of the Pliocene period (2000 million years ago). The soils are poor in organic material with low total nitrogen content. These parameters limit the vigour of the vine and make the soils unproductive, thus guaranteeing concentrated wines.  The climate of Yecla is of a dry continental type, with very hot summers which can reach 39ºC, and cold winters with temperatures which can drop to -10ºC on the coldest days.  This terroir is reflected in the wines from La Purisima; resulting in wines of concentration and intense flavour.

Rosewood Flora Rosé

Rosewood Estates Winery & Meadery is an award winning boutique winery located on the Beamsville Bench. Family owned and operated, Rosewood is proud to produce 100% VQA Ontario wines and the first honey wines in Niagara. The winery crafts low-intervention wine, innovative mead, and local honey that reflect their individuality as artifacts of the Niagara Region.

The Rosewood story begins over 80 years ago when R.W. Roman’s passion for beekeeping and mead began as a teenager in Ukraine. After arriving in Canada, he continued keeping bees alongside his son, Eugene Roman, who quickly fell in love with the craft. Years later, during Eugene & Renata’s honeymoon to Niagara-on-the-Lake, the two fell in love with the region for its natural beauty, people and wines. Here the concept of Rosewood began, as Eugene promised his new wife that one day he would build a winery with her. After years of planning, planting and a decade of harvests, our team is made up of a diverse group of talented and passionate wine-loving individuals.

Flower Girl Method Ancestrale

Ginny Povall was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and began making wine at home as a hobby.  She eventually made her way to South Africa to pursue her passion to make wine on a larger scale and she planted vines on Protea Heights Farm, located in Devon Valley, about 10 minutes outside the center of Stellenbosch.  Back in  the 1940s, this was the first farm in South Africa to grow protea flowers, which is the country’s national flower and Ginny decided to dedicate a fraction of her property to protea cultivation.  The vineyards were freshly planted in 2009 and 2010 and her winery just now coming into steady production and from her inaugural vintage, she has garnered well deserved attention.  She practices sustainable and organic viticulture with minimal intervention throughout the winemaking process.  The Botanica range of wines have as much personality as their vibrant and charming winemaker.

Chateau Clamens Sauvignon Blanc

Chateau Clamens has been a family domaine for 6 generations and today is managed by Jean-Michel Bégué, a passionate and talented craftsman.  The domaine practices sustainable farming; the dry and sunny weather of the region is conducive to a more natural approach to viticulture, where the use of chemical treatments is minimal and only employed as a last resort.  A prevailing regional wind called the Autan (Le Vent d’Autan) has an influence on viticulture here- and also the residents, as it is said to cause a bit of the crazies when it blows for long periods, where the locals refer to it as “Le Vent des Fou”. The Autan Blanc blows from the south-east of France from the Mediterranean Sea, bringing warm air and clear skies thus keeping the vines dry and limiting disease. All in all, this place is blessed with the ecological and geographic conditions for producing quality wines and happy people.

Villa Chiopris Pinot Grigio DOC Friuli

Villa Chiopris is a line of wines produced by Livon.  The history of Livon wines dates back 1964 when Dorino Livon bought his first vineyards on the hills of Collio, in Italy’s North eastern region of Friuli bordering Slovenia. He built a winery perfectly equipped with the most technologically advanced systems in order to produce high quality and fresh white and red wines. The Collio region is re-known for producing some of Italy’s most enduring white wines. Livon has a diverse portfolio of wines and has earned a reputation for crafting brilliant white wines in Collio, though their holdings have expanded to other areas in Italy. Livon produces both approachable everyday drinking white wines as well as limited production wines from designated Cru and Gran Cru sites.

Villa Chiopris, the old aristocratic countryside mansion is nestled away where the plain meets the spectacular amphitheatre created by the Colli Orientali del Friuli, and where the cool breeze that blows from the north becomes mild thanks to the influence of the Adriatic Sea close by. Up until the end of the last century the estate belonged the Hausbrandt family, an important dynasty of coffee dealers from Trieste.

Thanks to its suitable position and dimensions, the villa was used as a military hospital during the First World War. Today Villa Chiopris has returned to it original splendour thanks to the Livon family, and is now a favourite retreat for those in seek of the quintessential atmosphere of Friuli.

Founded in 1859, Ogier is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the heart of the most prestigious appellation in the south of France.  In order to interpret the subtle variations of the terroirs of this AOC and of the entire Rhone Valley, Ogier has deepened its knowledge of the types of soils present in the different appellations and has adapted its work accordingly, particularly its ageing.  Its century-old cellars, in the heart of the village, house more than 8,000 hL (211 338 gal) of wooden vats, tuns, demi-muids, barrels and truncated-cone vats.  The Ogier range seeks to combine diversity of soils, climates and grape varieties, while maintaining balance, uprightness and accuracy in each of its wines.

Château Suduiraut 2011

Château Suduiraut, Premier Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the great historic vineyards of Sauternes. A rigorous selection in the vineyard and in the cellars ensures the production of Château Suduiraut’s wines, which are the accomplished expression of this exceptional terroir.  The estate is certified High Environmental Value (HEV), it is comprised of 91 hectares of vines, on gravelly, sandy clay soil. The stones capture the sun’s heat, thereby helping the grapes to reach maturity more rapidly. It is this unique terroir that gives the wine its outstanding opulence.   The rich resources of the Château Suduiraut terroir are due notably to its geographic proximity to the Ciron and Garonne rivers. They both provide ideal conditions for the development of the noble rot Botrytis Cinerea: cool nights and morning autumn mists followed by fine sunny weather during the day.  This “noble rot” is essential to the production of Sauternes.

Lagabiere - Tiki Sour: Cucumber & Lime Gose

Since their very first brews in the family garage, the Laganière brothers have always had the intention to bring their products, of which they are proud, to as many people as possible. This is why in November 2012, the small Lagabière Brewpub was born. Located in the heart of Old Saint-Jean, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Lagabière quickly became a must in the region for craft beer enthusiasts.

In 2016, the brothers had the idea of opening a second brewery, this time in the industrial sector. The idea was to produce bottled beer for distribution on the Quebec market. The success of Lagabière products, now offered in cans, made the brewery grow in record time and it continues to expand to this day. Bishop’s Cellar is very excited to welcome them to Nova Scotia!

Modelo - Especial Lager 6pk

For decades, these two beers dominated Mexican beer culture before eventually making their way to the U.S. In 1990, Modelo Especial introduced American beer drinkers to a different kind of Mexican beer: a full-flavored lager rich with a smooth taste and crisp finish.

Since the early 2010’s Modelo has been under the ownership of AB-InBev.
