Sherry is a versatile wine made mainly from the Palomino grape and comes in a wide range of styles. It includes light, crisp varieties similar to white table wines, like Manzanilla and Fino, as well as darker, richer styles that develop depth and complexity through barrel aging and oxidation, such as Amontillado and Oloroso. There are also sweet dessert sherries crafted from Pedro Ximénez or Moscatel grapes, which are sometimes blended with Palomino-based sherries for added sweetness and character.
