Altbier

Hailing from Düsseldorf, Germany, Altbier strikes a balance between hop and malt flavours but can have low fruity esters and some peppery yeast notes. “Alt” meaning “Old,” the name refers to ales that are older than lagers. This is a lagered ale, a hybrid style of sorts.
