Tasting Notes

In the glass, brilliant ruby red in colour with a nose that opens with red fruit and floral notes.  The palate is lively and balanced expressing cherry flavours and a fresh bright fruit finish. This is an everyday kind of wine. It goes well with charcuterie and cheeses, light pasta dishes to main courses.

This wine is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot, both hand picked at optimal ripeness and vinified in stainless steel with 14 days on the skins.  The wine ages for another 12 months and is then bottle aged for 3 months.
