No. 3 refers to the historic location of Berry Bros. & Rudd, in James Street London, fine wine and spirits providers to the crown and many other high society people. This fine purveyor of liquid libations has been in operation since 1698. The key on the label was inspired when packing designers were rummaging through the shop and came across the key to the Parlour, one of the shop’s oldest guestrooms.
Tasting Notes
This is a classic London dry style gin with citrus peel, herbal and botanical aromas; the palate is smooth and dry with balancing herbal and citrus flavour followed by a crisp finish.
Method
This is not an English made gin. It is actually made in one of Holland’s oldest distilleries. Three fruits and three spices are distilled in copper pot stills. The botanicals are Italian juniper berries, sweet Spanish orange peel, grapefruit peel, angelica root, Moroccan coriander seeds and cardamon pods.
