Salvatore Lovo along with his wife Rita Ferasin and their daughter Silvia operate the family winery Terregaie in Vo’ at the western end of the Euganian Hills; a region steeped in winemaking tradition.
This modern and dynamic winery produces about 100,000 bottles of high quality estate grown Prosecco from the picturesque & highly favored hillsides of the Padova province. They also produce a selection of still wines. Centrally located in the heart of Veneto’s wine production area, the Terre Gaie Winery and Lovo family has been cultivating these lands for generations.
Tasting Notes
Fresh primary fruit aromas of sunripened strawberries and blueberries. The medium bodied palate has ample fruit flavours, a supple mouthfeel, medium acidity, fine tannins and finishes with a hint of vanilla. This is a versatile and easy drinking red that will accompany a a variety of foods from mushroom based dishes, white meat and lean cuts of red meat.
Method
Organic hand-harvested Pinot Noir grown in high altitude volcanic soil and aged in stainless steel.
