Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon

Clos Du Val, French for “small vineyard estate of a small valley,” was founded in 1972 in the now legendary Stags Leap District by John Goelet and French winemaker Bernard Portet.   After a worldwide search to purchase vineyard properties from which to craft world-class wines, 150 acres in the now legendary Stags Leap District and 180 acres in the cool Carneros District were chosen, from which Clos Du Val Winery, a true Napa Valley icon, was born.  The wine was first recognized for is Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at the famed Judgement of Paris in 1976.   Today, for Clos Du Val winemakers John Clews and Kristy Melton, it’s the fruit from these distinctive vineyards that serves as the foundation for crafting the balanced, terroir-driven wines of elegance for which Clos Du Val is known.

Daou Cabernet Sauvignon

As children growing up in Lebanon, Georges and Daniel fell in love with the rural way of life during visits to their grandfather’s ancient olive groves. Their world was turned upside down, however, when the Daou family home was struck by an errant rocket at the start of the Lebanese civil war.  The Daous were forced to emigrate to Paris and later moved to Southern France. It was here — surrounded by vineyards that reminded them of their childhood — that Georges and Daniel first began to dream of a life in wine.  Georges and Daniel came to the United States to study engineering at the University of California San Diego and graduated at the top of their classes. Industrious and driven to succeed, they soon started their own networking technology company.  Ten years later they would find themselves at the height of their industry and ready to return to their roots. It was now time for their winemaking dream to prevail.

Saint Cosme Condrieu

Saint Cosme – located north to the village of Gigondas – is the most ancient estate in the region (evidence of a Gallo-Roman villa on the site date to 1416!). The diversity of soils and cool micro-climates encourages slow, even and late ripening of grapes. The dedication at Saint Cosme is total; they want to best express the extraordinary potential of the terroir. Years of experience, old vines and organic viticulture are also key contributing factors to the high quality of Saint Cosme wines and their elegant house style.

Trailway Ooz DIPA

Trailway started as a local group of friends in Fredericton, NB, that started brewing beer on a small 1 Barrel (31 Gallon) system in a basement, just selling small amounts to local pubs. After a year of hard work producing some well-received quality beer, they decided to take the idea to another level, so in May of 2016 they opened a 10 barrel brewery and tasting room on Main Street.

Due to a longtime passion for hops, you will find them typically brewing hoppy, hazy, aromatic, flavourful American-style IPA’s, Pale Ales, or anything hop forward!

Dunham Ping Pong Wizard Grisette

Located in the small country town of Dunham, Quebec, about thirty minutes from the Vermont border, is Brasserie Dunham. Brewmaster Eloi Deit, formerly of Quebec’s famous Le Cheval Blanc, took over the struggling little brewpub as a temporary moonlighting gig. Before he knew it, he had cleaned house, ditched the recipes, and when the sun came up, he had created something truly special.

These days, Brasserie Dunham is known for a wide variety of beers, but especially their saisons and barrel aged beers. Surrounded by fruit farmers, honey producers, cideries, and wineries, Eloi’s geography is not unlike Hill Farmstead, and the effect it has on his mindset as a brewer is similarly nuanced. Beautiful, fluffy, balanced beers that are bright and full of flavor.

GlenAllachie 9YO Rye Cask

Glenallachie Distillery is a Speyside distillery sitting on the eastern edge of Ben Rinnes mountain where it is rather exposed to the elements . A modern building and its architect William Delmé-Evans created a distillery which is rather pleasing on the eye. Glenallachie was commissioned in 1967 with two stills which increased to four in 1989 in order to meet blenders ever increasing demand for Glenallachie malt whisky.

This gorgeous golden malt has been bottled at 48% and matured in premium American Oak Wood Barrels before being re-racked into bold and punchy Kentucky Rye Casks. The different toasting and charring levels of these casks combined with the Rye maturation adds a rich and spicy twist to the classic GlenAllachie style.
