Clouet farms about 20 acres of vines, mostly in Bouzy, which is the most famous Grand Cru village in Champagne for Pinot Noir.  Winemaker Jean-Francois Clouet crafts the 1911 Champagne by blending older reserve wines.  Only 1911 bottles of this Grand Cru Champagne are made each year and every bottle is numbered by hand.  It spends more than 6 years aging on its lees before its disgorgement and has a low 6 grams/liter of dosage

Tasting Notes

Pronounced aromas of brioche, preserved peaches and white flowers. The palate is full and focused with lots of fruit and sweet spices showing deep concentration, viscosity, and intense minerality.  The finish is long and satisfying.
