The GlenAllachie 10 YO Cask Strength

The GlenAllachie Distillery was one of the few post-war distilleries designed by William Delmé-Evans and focused on using gravity-fed methods to reduce energy requirements. The distillery was built in 1967 and sits on the eastern edge of Ben Rinnes mountain where it is rather exposed to the elements. For most of its life, the GlenAllachie Distillery was a production distillery used to produce large quantities of malt whisky for use in blends like Chivas Regal and Clan Campbell. It wasn’t until the 1990s that the distillery saw its first official bottling under its own label.

San Leonardo Vette Sauvignon Blanc

More than 1000 years ago, the San Leonardo Estate was a monastery, but for over three centuries now San Leonardo has served as the residence of the Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga family, its proud custodians. Today, the San Leonardo estate is a garden of vineyards and roses, protected by the massive barrier of the Alps, which blunt the force of the cold northern winds while the valley floor benefits from, and in turn releases, warmth from nearby Lake Garda. The tenuta remains an antique world, in which winemaking practices, still uncompromisingly artisanal, yield wines that are true gems of Italy’s wine tradition, marked by freshness, harmony, and an innate elegance.   San Leonardo is among the elite of the Trentino vineyards and specializes in Bordeaux varietals. 

Vette is named for the imposing peaks that rise above its Sauvignon Blanc vineyard.

This brought techniques that were hitherto unknown in Chile, changing the way in which wines were made in the country and bringing spectacular results.It makes a range of styles; from simple everyday drinking varietal wines to complex premium styles. Chakana Nuna Malbec

Alberto Antonini a consultant for the Chakana Vineyards first came to Argentina in 1995, after key contributions to the Super-Tuscan movement in Italy. His philosophy is focused on using modern technology to express the terroir potential in making high end wines, while respecting the true nature of the grape flavours.   The winemaking philosophy is one of minimal intervention that allows the purest expression of the place.  Chakana operates with great respect for their local communityand endorses the fair trade standards of the international organization Fair For Life.  

Chakana has a varied wine portfolio, some of their wines are made according to conventional, though sustainable methods, while others are certified organic and biodynamic.
