Pretty aromas of dried flowers, raspberries and sweet spices abound. The palate is medium bodied, dry with lively acidity and fine grained tannins. Flavours of black cherry, plum, tea leaves and savoury spice characterize the wine.
Baron de Ley Reserva Rioja (Spain) $34.00/bottle
Pronounced and layered nose of red fruits, dill and coconut. The palate offers lots of ripe fruit, along with a freshness. Other flavours of herbs and caramel from age and oak are seamlessly integrated and the tannins are perfectly silky.
Real de Aragon Centenaria (Spain) $21.00/bottle
This full bodied, dry red is made from organically farmed old vine Garnacha (Grenache). Ripe red and blue berry, peppery, and fresh rose aromas. Black raspberry, cherry and vanilla flavors. Soft finish with a touch of sweet raspberry and floral notes.

The Pinot Noir grapes for Folly of the Beast are sourced from California’s Central Coast, where foggy mornings and cool evenings are optimal conditions for producing quality Pinot Noir grapes. The wine ages for 12 months in 33% new French oak; the result is a berry fruit driven red with notes of sweet spice.
Brigaldara Valpolicella (Italy) $25.00/bottle
A blend of Corvina 55%, Corvinone 25%, Rondinella 20%. Bright ruby. Vibrant aromas of redcurrant, blackberry and candied violet on the knockout nose. Quite juicy on the palate, with floral red berry flavours given laser-like precision by lovely harmonious acidity. Very well balanced wine, clean and clear.
Sileni Hawkes Bay Pinot Noir (New Zealand) $26.00/bottle
Sileni Estates is named after the Sileni who was featured in Roman mythology alongside Bacchus, the god of wine. Ripe black cherry aromas are supported on the palate with juicy dark berry fruit and fine tannins on the finish.
Librandi Ciro Rosso (Italy) $22.00/bottle
Made from Gaglioppo, which is an indigenous grape from Calabria, Southern Italy. It is the offspring of Sangiovese and a relative of Sicily’s Nerello Mascalese. It offers red currant and raspberry aromas and flavours with subtle tobacco and clay notes. This bright fruit driven wine is medium bodied and dry with medium to high acidity and tannin.

Cave Saint-Verny is a co-op in the département of Puy-de-Dôme in the Auvergne, in the far north east of France’s Massif Central. A light and elegant Pinot Noir with ripe cherry notes and a distinct minerality on the palate.
