Rich & Full Whites
The fullest and richest of the the white wine styles, this style is highly determined by wine-making processes such as oak treatment and aging on the lees or yeast cells.
A range of grapes and growing regions produce wines in this category. There are certain grapes that are characterized by their soft, broad mouthfeel and warmer regions are a natural fit for producing this ripe, full style of wine. These white wines can range from creamy, with just a hint of toast from oak, to luscious butter bombs. The wine’s assertive flavours pair well with richer flavoured foods and preparations.
