Pastry Stout

A relatively new sub-style of Stout to come from the craft brewers in the USA; this style usually features flaked oats and often lactose for added creamy texture but they also incorporate confectionery treats like cookies, pies, cakes, marshmallows, etc. This really gives intense dessert flavours and extra richness.
