Poultry

The term Poultry refers to domesticated birds raised and kept for human consumption. This includes chicken, turkey, quail, squab, domestic duck and domestic goose.

Poultry is a very versatile category of meat and the each of the unique species can be prepared in a variety of ways, including: pan frying, deep frying, stewing, baking, roasting and more. Our pairing recommendations are broad suggestions when in reality each of these preparations change the taste, texture, weight and dominant flavours of the meat and should be considered when making a pairing.
