New to us, in general Tavel is always a great choice as they tend to be on the richer, hotter (ABV) side of things. Although this one comes in at a reasonable 13.5% ABV, it finds itself in that sweet spot for drinking on its own at the cottage or pairing with all of your favourite summer maritime dishes. And the song to pair it with? Well, that’s a little harder to pin down but in honour of Father’s Day, the Doobie Brothers are always a go-to for a Dad Rock™ classic.
