Hungary

Hungarian wine culture stretches back to Roman times and has survived numerous political, religious and economic challenges- including periods of Islamic rule and the phylloxera epidemic.

This central European country produces a vast array of wines, though it is really known for just a couple of wine styles: namely the rich, sweet wines of Tokaj and the deep Bull’s Blood of Eger.
