Our team is growing and as such we are currently looking to fill the position of Brand & Communications Manager. Working closely with the Retail Manager, the Brand & Communication Manager will market, coordinate and enhance all aspects of the Bishop’s Cellar brand. Through digital channels and face to face event marketing, the Brand & Communications Manager will continue to develop and position Bishop’s Cellar as one of Atlantic Canada’s leading specialty wine stores. Your day-to-day activities will include such items as (but not exclusive to):
- Management of all of Bishop’s Cellar online initiatives including website, Facebook, Twitter as well as the newsletter and blog, to create awareness and drive traffic to the retail shop.
- Develop, lead and promote any Bishop’s Cellar sponsorship and charitable events throughout the community.
- Administration and management of all appropriate internal and external educational communications.
As the successful candidate, you have a keen interest in wine (previous retail wine experience and/or wine certifications i.e. certified sommelier / extensive WSET training preferred), excellent communication skills and experience in digital marketing and a background in event management. You have an exceptional eye for detail and thrive in a fast paced, creative environment.
A Bachelor’s degree/certificate in Communications/Marketing is considered an asset.
