Case includes:

1 bottle Villa Cafaggio Chianti (Italy) $31.00/bottle

Rounded profile, filled with cherry, raspberry and spice flavors. This is driven as much by the vivid acidity as the refined tannins, ending with elements of fruit, spice and mineral.

1 bottle Embocadero Tempranillo (Spain) $20.00/bottle

Bright violet color with dark berry and vanilla oak aromas. Black and blue fruit flavors with a touch of black chocolate. Balanced with some minerality. Soft, spicy finish.

1 bottle Birgit Braunstein Pinot Vom Berg (Austria) $32.00/bottle

Lots of crunchy red fruit aromas, raspberries and cherries.  A year in oak adds depth and a savoury element.  Light to medium body with fresh acidity and summer sweet berry flavours.

1 bottle Mud House Central Otago Pinot (New Zealand) $30.00/bottle

Ruby red. Aromas of ripe red and dark berry mingle with cherry aromas, supported by subtle spicy oak. Juicy cherries lead into a smooth palate, delivering a long finish with fine tannins and balanced acidity.  A portion of this wine was aged in French oak barriques, while the balance was matured in stainless steel to retain fruit character.

1 bottle Tinto Negro Mendoza Malbec (Argentina) $18.00/bottle

The wines reflect the classic characteristics of Mendoza Malbec, inky and concentrated reds grown at elevations of 3700 to 5000 feet. The vines for this wine were planted in 1955!

1 bottle Casajus Vendimia Seleccionada (Spain) $35.00/bottle

Intense nose with lots of nuances and aromas of sweet berries, truffles, spice and licorice. Pronounced blackberry flavour with licorice and mineral notes and ripe round tannins.

1 bottle Chateau Argadens (France) $26.00/bottle

A thoroughly modern style of Bordeaux, lavish with intense berry fruit as well as soft vanilla oak spice. Opaque in colour, dense in texture and almost chewy, with soft, supple tannins.

1 bottle Org de Rac Merlot (South Africa) $20.00/bottle

Strong fruit aromas of blackberries, plums and black cherries, with notes of cedar and tobacco. On the palate the wine is well-balanced with ripe rich fruit and a subtle oak treatment that adds complexity and depth

1 bottle Vega Moragona La Duna (Spain) $20.00/bottle

This is a fruit driven and complex Tempranillo from the Ribera del Jucar appellation. The best quality grapes from a single vineyard go into this wine. After fermentation the wine rests for three months in new oak barrels. It is ruby red in the glass with aromas of red fruit, toast and spice. The palate is broad with flavours of ripe fruit and sweet baking spice. Enjoy this with grilled meat and cool weather dishes.

1 bottle Petite Selve (France) $25.00/bottle

Petite Selve is made of 40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 20% Syrah. The wine is spontaneously fermented with the natural yeasts present on the skins. The wine was layed on it’s lees in concrete vats for a few months. The wine has aromas of plums, red fruits with a hint of fresh mint. The palate is light and elegant; you can easily enjoy this wine slightly chilled.

1 bottle Fontella Chianti (Italy) $18.00/bottle

The wine is ruby red, with a typical Chianti nose, smooth, medium-bodied palate, bright red fruit, some fresh herbal character and pleasant balanced finish.

1 bottle Alceno 12 Meses (Spain)

Deep coulour, complex nose with layers of black fruit, toast, cocoa and spices.  The palate shows great breadth and depth of flavour and overall balance.
