Puglia

Puglia is the heel of the boot, on the Adriatic coast.  The region’s capital and largest city is Bari.  It is a major agricultural area for grapes and other products being the least mountainous region in Italy.  It is sunny and hot (sometimes too hot, so careful vine management is necessary in order to produce quality wine making grapes rather than sun baked raisins.)  Here you will find tasty great value red wines made from Negroamaro and Primitivo.
