Muscadet AC

Closest to the Atlantic ocean is the maritime region of Nantais, home to the classic dry white wine Muscadet de Sevre et Maine from the Melon de Bourgogne grape.  The wines are neutral and crisp, with aromas of green apple and freshly cut grass.  The best wines are aged “sur lies” to provide a creamy texture and just the slightest spritz in the tongue, making them perfect for regional seafood.
