Scilly Island Gin

The stunning Isles of Scilly are a small archipelago off the coast of Cornwall, England. The inspiration for this gin came from a 1665 shipwreck by the famed Bishop’s Rock Lighthouse (note the shape of the bottle) where brave islanders rescued the crew from the perilous Atlantic ocean. Amongst the ships cargo was pepper from Java, a key ingredient in the gin.Inspired by the ocean beauty, Scilly Gin truly captures the Atlantic spirit.

The distillery itself is run by two people, and two people only. Husband and wife duo, Arthur and Hilary, are long time industry veterans and in 2018 Hilary had the idea to start a distillery on the Isles of Scilly. Having close ties with the Isles, Hilary’s family had lived there for over 60 years, as well as with Halifax (where she attended school for Hospitality).
Arthur handles the business side, while Hilary handles production.

Meikle Tòir

Under the guidance of Master Distiller Billy Walker, the team at The GlenAllachie Distillery is dedicated to crafting an exceptional peated single malt. Their independence ensures a focus on quality, producing just 100,000 litres annually of this rare Speyside style. Using St. Fergus peat, Meikle Tòir The Sherry One boasts a sweet phenolic content of 35 PPM, with a 160-hour fermentation creating a fruit-forward spirit ideal for Sherry oak aging. If you’re looking to get ahead of Father’s Day this year, look no further than this gem.

Meikle Toir Sherry Cask

Guided by revered Master Distiller, Billy Walker, their team is on a ‘Meikle Tòir’ (meaning ‘big pursuit’). The goal: To carefully craft and cask-perfect a peerless peated single malt at their Speyside home, The GlenAllachie Distillery. Being independent allows for complete freedom to make decisions for all the right reasons, and to firmly place the focus on quality over quantity. In 2018, they began producing peated spirit – a much rarer style for the Speyside region – for several weeks each year. They only produce around 100,000 litres of new-make annually to create their premium small-batch releases.

Maclean's Nose Blended

From the Adelphi distillery. Maclean’s Nose is a traditional blended scotch whisky, with some modern twists, and takes its name both from the Maclean’s Nose landmark on the Ardnamurchan peninsula and from the whisky legend Charles Maclean, who has acted as a guide and mentor to them over the years.
