Fugnano Chianti Colli Senesi

Fattoria Fugnano is located in the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano, Tuscany.  There is a rich history of grape growing and winemaking in this area dating back to the Middle Ages.

When present day owner and winemaker, Laura, left Palermo, Sicily, to help out with the harvest at Fattoria Fugnano after her grandfather passed away, she could not have imagined the new trajectory her life was about take.  She loved rural life in Tuscany and vineyard work so much she ended up staying and now owns and operates the estate thus carrying on her family’s legacy.  She has great respect and love of the environment and employs sustainable practices in the vineyard and winery.

Foradori Teroldego Vigneti Dolomiti

The winery we know today as Foradori was founded in 1901 Northern Italy’s Alto Adige region.  It was in 1939 that Vittorio Foradori purchased the winery and began a family run wine estate that is now in its fourth generation.  In 1984, Vittorio’s granddaughter, Elisabetta Foradori, after having completed her enological studies, joined the team and completed her first vintage at the family estate. She is widely credited with helping revive the popularity and quality of the Teroldego grape through masal selection. In 2002 the estate began it’s conversion to biodynamic farming and received Demeter status in 2009.  In 2012 Elizabetta’s son, Emilio joined his mother in winemaking at the estate.  Here in an impressive landscape, surrounded by the Dolomiti mountains, they cultivate native grapes on both alluvial and calcarous clay soils.  They produce soulful wines that show purity and freshness, allowing indigenous grapes to shine and express this unique terroir.

Bouchon Pais Viejo

Bouchon Family Vineyards’ history began with an adventurous young French man’s dream almost a century and a half ago. Emile Bouchon left his little home of small winegrowers in Arveyres, near Burdeos, France, to board on a ship, towards Chile in the spring of 1887.  Emile came hired as a winemaker adviser and throughout many years of efforts, he was able to purchase an antique wine cellar in Colchagua Valley, turning it into one of the most prominent vineyards of that time.  His his children and eventually his grandson would continue his legacy.  His grandson Julio studied enology in Bordeaux and expanded the Bouchon project. He fell in love with the granitic soils in the interior dry area in Maule Valley, acquiring Mingre state in 1977, a distant property, which had old dry farming vineyards, besides a cement tanks cellar and simple adobe constructions, some of them from the middle of the XIX century.

Today the winery is operated by the fourth generation of the Bouchon family and a team of expert viticulturalists and winemakers working on continued innovation in the vineyards and winery with the goal of producing delicious wines.

Quails' Gate Pinot Noir

Quails’ Gate has been owned and operated by the Stewart family since 1956.  Located in the Okanagan Valley it boasts 160 acres of incredible soil  below the extinct volcano of Mount Boucherie.  Its deposits work like a time release capsule. Combined with warm summers and mild winters, the volcanic rocks have decomposed and recombined into soluble molecules that are easily separated into their elements and accessible to plants – including vineyards. The result is some of the richest agricultural land on the planet.

Siempre Tequila Reposado

Founders, Monica Sanita and Alex Lacroix grew Siempre into a successful International brand from $9000 and a credit card. They put it all on the line to build a brand around Monica’s grandmother’s lifelong agricultural experience and creating agave spirits in Mexico.

Alex has this to say about the brand “Siempre means always, and we always see the beauty of everything. It doesn’t matter how dark your past is or how hard you had it growing up, you can still have a positive impact on the world and turn things around.”
