Thanksgiving pairing: Pumpkin pie
For my Thanksgiving table, I always go for the classic: pumpkin pie! Dessert is always the best part anyways. Sweet, spiced, and cozy, it deserves a pairing that makes it even better; and that’s where Grand Pré’s Vidal Icewine comes in. Hand-picked at Warner Vineyards in Lakeville, this delicious icewine brings notes of lemon, apricot, and a tangy-citrus twist. It’s sweet but beautifully balanced with crisp acidity and a long, lingering finish. Basically, it tastes like the holidays in a glass. This would also go perfect with lots of other fruit-based desserts (or just by itself), this will be my go-to to end a meal on the warmest, most delicious note.
