Southwest France AC
Southwest France offers interesting and value wines to satisfy your inner wine geek.
To the east of Bordeaux lies Cahors AC, the original Malbec appellation (here the grape is known as Auxerrois or Cot). These “black” wines have juicy dark fruit and ample tannins. South towards the Pyrenees and in the foothills of the mountains is Jurancon AC that makes both dry and sweet wines with obvious apricot and grapefruit character from indigenous varietals.
