Regardless of the party; a family gathering, a get together with close friends or a neighbourhood drop in, Venturini Baldini Lambrusco will always be the perfect party date.  Those who know Lambrusco will love you for bringing this wine while others who have never tasted Lambrusco will be in for a treat.  This sparkling red from Emilia Romagna is a traditional style where it pairs perfectly with the region’s cured meats (Prosciutto di Parma) and cheeses.  Bring your bottle pre-chilled, pour it into a regular wine glass, a flute if you’re feeling fancy, or a simple tumbler.  Note the deep purple colour and take in the fresh primary fruit (cherry, blackberry, plum) and vinous aromas.  The combination of sweet ripe fruit and carbonation makes this an ultra refreshing, light and lively drink that is easy to enjoy on its own without tiring after a few sips.  The beauty is that it pairs easily with a range of foods, salty party snacks, sweet & sour flavours, lightly spiced fare  and even dark chocolate.
