Welcome, Christie! She’s honed her customer service skills with lots of previous café experience as well as working in an art gallery. In her downtime, she’s usually crafting, cooking, and/or just hanging out with friends. As a new grad from NSCAD that focused on jewelry design and metalsmithing, she’s looking to pursue work in this field but is joining us part-time, eager to learn more about the wonderful world of wine!

Coffee or tea; what wakes you up in the morning? And how do you take it?

I used to be really addicted to coffee so I had to stop, and then I got really into having a lot of orange pekoe, so I kind of go back and forth between these two phases. For coffee I love a good cappuccino, and for my orange pekoe I usually mix in a tea spoon or two of condensed milk. Sometimes I also really love a green tea or an oolong tea in the morning, drinking herbal tea makes me feel like I have my life together.

Are you a dog or cat person? Or maybe neither. Maybe you have birds or turtles or an ant farm?

Hmm I’d say that I’m more of a cat person because I grew up with cats, but I absolutely love dogs, especially golden retrievers.

What’s one thing that people would be shocked to know about you?

I grew up in Hong Kong and Taiwan
