🏺 Our Wine Journey

Not even 2 months after turning 19, I landed a job at an independent make your own wine store. I spent the next year being able to ferment, filter, and bottle my own wine. Creating a love and appreciation for the process and everything involved in winemaking. My taste has also grown along with me, no more sharpie labeled mason jars, or sticky sweet white sangria. Today I reach for the Rolly Gassmann Riesling more than anything. Not cloying or too suffocating, slightly off-dry as a nod to where I started in this industry, reminiscent of ripe fruit salad, drizzled with honey. I like to think 19 year old Sam would have enjoyed this wine, but I also know she probably would drink it straight from the bottle.
